Additionally, it remains the best dog-friendly pub in St. Albans, where even the dogs can enjoy a lunchtime roast! I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone and would give it six stars if I could. The staff always go above and beyond to assist guests. Lovely Sunday lunch, and very friendly staff, will definitely use this as our half way meeting point when we drop the grandchildren off, daughter lives in Essex and we live in Bedford. See you very soon.
An amazing day. Great staff who were so happy to help you and make you welcome. Great atmosphere and busy but you didn't have to wait long! Food was outstanding, best roast dinner in the area!!! Would recommend to anyone. Well done Queens Head!
Landlord and staff are friendly, food is really lovely home cooked food. Pub is so warm and relaxing. A real country pub which is very rare to find these days.
