Yello Shack Cafe

We tried the venison pie, Moroccan lamb pie, and brownie at this restaurant and they were all delicious! The location is close to Greymouth and we even thought about driving back for more.

We had a great family lunch on Sunday. The food and service were both excellent. I'm excited to bring my partner and try the wood-fired pizzas!

The Yellowshack Cafe is a fantastic family-friendly cafe to visit on your way to Arthur's Pass or the West Coast. They serve delicious coffee, amazing takeaway food (their pies are especially great), and even wood-fired pizza. There is a lovely park next door for kids to play in, and plenty of outdoor seating. Despite the limited cafes and amenities nearby, this cafe is a great stopover spot. Just be aware that the toilets can get busy during peak hours, so be prepared to line up quickly!

We ordered the pepper steak and it was incredibly tasty. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
