Portofino Steak Pasta Seafood - Split

We had a great dinner here that was a perfect end to our time in Split! Nina and Roko took care of us all night! Both had amazing suggestions for wine and appetizers. Everything we tried was spectacular in presentation and taste! This is a must when you visit Split! Get the lemon and raspberry, tiramisu and chocolate desserts! You'll thank me later!

Nina, our waitress, made this an unpredictable culinary experience. She was absolutely beautiful, knowledgeable, recommended a great wine. The food was also amazing. If we had seen this restaurant before, we wouldn't have eaten anywhere else. A restaurant you need to taste in Split!

Definitely the best dining experience we had in Split. The atmosphere in the outside seating area is very romantic. Our waiter was great with recommendations and fantastic with dealing with a large group like us. We had two courses, wine and cocktails around the table and ended up spending 80 eur per face. The dishes were lovely across the table and perfectly executed. I would highly recommend the scallops Tuna steak was well executed and a generous portion Sea bass was tender with a nice crispy skin but the puree could be more flavourful Salmon tartar was simple yet fresh The lobster pasta at 50€ per portion was really full of flavour but I found the pasta slightly overcooked for my liking. It was also served with cheese which I personally do not approve of.

Portofino was fantastic. One of the best dining experiences of our trip. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. They were full and said they couldn’t seat us outside, but when we arrived they had added a table outside just for us. The owner/manager also was very kind and attentive. There are lots of average restaurants in old town Split, but if you’re looking for a truly memorable dinner this is your place.

Food here is really fantastic and original. Rich tastes, beautiful plating. We only sampled a few dishes but could see many other tempting ones on other tables. Excellent friendly and attentive service. Good selection of local wines served properly. It is hard to get a table so reserve many days ahead.
