Decent place with decent food. Wish I was told they only take cash because I never have cash on me. I’m just lucky my husband gave me his wallet on my way out today! Told them it was my first time there and they didn’t think to let me know it was a cash only restaurant and I even looked for a sign after and didn’t see one. The Corn nuggets are really good! The food is Not great, but ok. the restaurant itself needs work and cleaning. need to step it up in here, cause it's a place worth saving maybe.
Stopped in this diner while camping at Fall Creek Falls. Quintessential mom and pop restaurant. Catfish, white beans, mashed potatoes and the best cheeseburger/fry. His is known for the sweet tea too. Must visit for some good ole southern cookin’. Cash only establishment.
If you are ever in Spencer or passing by, you must stop at Old Times Cafe! Great food and people own this family business, they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door!
I cant express how much I absolutely adored this place the pricing is amazing the food is amazing the people are amazing I LOVE
They have great food and great customer service aside from the fact they don't have a card reader, so make sure you bring cash when eating here. But I'll for sure be eating here again! Parking: Be aware that there is really only space for 3 cars in the parking lot, but you can park in the library parking lot and walk over really easily.
