Now, onto the most important part: the food! The Civilian Burger is honestly one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The bacon jam is the most flavorful I've ever had. The combination of flavors on the burger was simply divine. The crispy fries I ordered were some of the best quality I’ve ever encountered. I also got to try their slaw, which I absolutely need the recipe for because it’s the best slaw I’ve ever tast... View all feedback.
What Matthew Adams doesn't like about Civilian Brewing Corps:
I would avoid if you need any type of accomodations. The staff is not educated on how to handle folks with Service Dogs. I e would assume they do not work well with any other disabilities and or allergies. Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
Food was on point. We loved every thing we ordered. That bacon jam is super special. We will be back. Waitress was very helpful and took our questions with a cheery attitude.
Great establishment for the location! Service was during a slow period just before early early dinner rush. Waitress was attentive and responsive. The 4 instead of 5 comes from the burger which was pressed wafer then and cooked until it was well overdone, causing it to be dry and sub-standard for something named The Standard. Fries were cooked to absolute perfection and the presentation is something I didn't think I'd find in this sleepy part of Indiana. Beers were varied and delicious but nothing stood out as mind blowing or unique as far as craft beer goes. This place overall was quite a shock and I'll definitely be back when they rotate the taps!
Emma our waitress was wonderful, very kind with a welcoming smile. Our burgers and fries were very tasty. This was our second stop here and I’m sure there will be more in the future.
Camping at McCormick and stopped in for lunch with the wife, great little spot with friendly service and good food. Now my only knock is being Cuban and finding a spot selling a Cuban sandwich is cool but this was NO where near one(dry and bread too hard). I know you put your own lil twist on it but I suggest don’t and give the folks something authentic.
A charming restaurant near Mccormicks Bach State Park. They have a list of their beers while they all sound good, but we didn't get one since we went a bit early a day. The large pulpit was excellent and came with diving sauce, which were also great. You can choose the Mac and cheese with a list of options, we chose the pulled pig. It comes without any sauce, so we asked after a BBQ on the side and WOW! It was spectacular. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.
