Foxhole Pub - Sparta

The service was great. The young lady that waited on us was friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was nice. The food was not so good. My sister and I ordered the Walleye and it was very fishy and not fresh and not good. My wife had the tips and she said they were warm and no flavor. My brother in law had the ribeye and it was a low quality steak. He said it wss very fatie and grizzly and again no flavoring. The potato pancakes were very good and the salad bar was good. We will give it another try.

The burgers and wings are great! I had a baked potato with shredded pork and cheese the other day that was really good, too! Plus, the dessert selection, which is usually some sort of cheesecake is always worth trying. While the decor is definitely a hole-in-the-wall bar vibe, the food more than makes up for it!

It is under a new owner, The food was good, and the staff was fantastic.The inside was still a little outdated. But overall very nice.I used to go there regularly back in the 70's.

Good pub food. Bartender was right on the ball,even for just lemonade refills.

Good food! Service is good, it's just the place gets busy. The atmosphere is improving with new owner.
