The food is all delicious, and the steak fajitas are my personal favorite. The servers are all wonderful, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. My daughter and I enjoy coming for the lunch specials, and we also enjoy coming on Sunday afternoons with our church friends. View all feedback.
What Leslie B doesn't like about Rodrigo's Mexican Grill:
This is not Mexican food! The waitress was nice. The food is bad and the Paloma cocktail was horrible. Overpriced sprite with a hint of low quality tequila. Go to ChaChas or Chaak for a good cocktail for the same price. Their chicken fajitas were cooked with a lot of oil. You’re better off going to Taco Bell. I’m disappointed and offended. The Rodrigo's in Tustin was wonderful. Food was delicious, well plated and appealing to the eye. Drinks were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend
Cheese Enchiladas on a combo platter with $4 sopa de albóndigas add-on or even a side salad. Their ranch is perfection. I like to scoop salsa on it… super good. Their chile rellenos though not perfectly authentic just hit. The salsa they put on them is so good. IMHO, skip the tacos. Chile Colorado and Chile verde are also both very good. Get some tortillas and make mini burritos with them and the rice and beans…. Altogether It’s enough food for a small village, especially after the chips and perfect restaurant salsa have completely filled you up. Compared with everything else, I don’t know why but their guacamole is trash.
