What 517miad doesn't like about Neptune:
Prices have gone up as expected but quality not as good as it used to be. Luckily we had finished our food when we saw the young blonde waitress looking in the mirror picking her spots and the older man who I assume was the owner saw her do this and not say anything just shrugged his shoulders when this was mentioned Do not recommend View all feedback.
I fancied one if those dirty burgers from a caff and this place did not disappoint. The burger tasted home made and was massive. My wife opted for chips and gravy which were also lush. I 'm surprised at some of the comments on here. It is what it is. It 's Southend not Richmond upon Thames. Great pitstop for families.
Fish Chips was disgusting. Soggy undercooked batter on mushy cod. Chips were soft pale, may have been reheated in microwave. A complete waste of money, this shop should be ashamed of serving revolting food. Waitress seemed used to complaints.

Absolutely terrible , took one bite of the savaloy and spat it out as I am convinced it was off or something , never tasted anything so bad, battered sausage was so greasy we had to take the batter off , half of the chips were ok but the other half looked like the potato was black. Absolute waste of just over £12 so avoid at all costs. You have been warned !!!
