YUM! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. However, I've noticed that the prices keep climbing. I understand that costs are increasing, but nearly $10 for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich feels a bit excessive. View all feedback.
What Aydil Cabezudo doesn't like about Patty's Pantry Southbury:
The food was decent until I found a hair in my sandwich. When I notified a staff member, they seemed indifferent. I asked to speak with the manager, only to discover that the person I was speaking with was the manager. After some back-and-forth, I decided to leave. Unfortunately, they even used disrespectful language towards me. It's really disappointing— all I wanted was a refund or some sort of resolution. View all feedback.
Had no high hopes, but I can really say my socks were completely knocked off. Chicken is great. Warning: I went there with another guy, both of them had the Kolaws immediately and troubled Tingle to the Kunge. Idk, if that's a family recipe or if it's bad, but stay away.
The fried chicken will satisfy your taste buds! Really flavorful and good! Crispy on the outside and tender on the meat! We will go back to Patty's for stopover lunch every time we go to MA. Service was great too! Tables and chairs helped us dine comfortably.
Random roadside stop for a bite to eat turned into a delicious discovery. I had stopped for gas on a recent road trip and this very unassuming place was right next door. This spot is clearly a local favorite. Lots of folks ordered their fried chicken which looked super crispy and meaty...and their grilled cheese. I opted for an Italian grinder which was loaded with fresh meat, lettuce and tomato. Was not expecting Mayo with the oil and vinegar as a condiment. I think I would have preferred it without the Mayo but it was still outstanding.The service was quick and friendly. There were so many tasty treats in the case from salads to dessert. I did grab a jalapeño and bacon Mac and cheese on a whim and I'm glad I did. So good! There's no place to sit inside but there are picnic tables just out front. This spot exceeded my expectations and is definitely worth a very minor detour off the highway.
Good is excellent. they use fresh ingredients and prepare the food however you want. the price is worth the tummy satisfaction.
Asked for the 8 wing combo was informed they only had 6 left,so the lady behind the counter stated she would substitute 2 tenders. I stated that was fine. The 8 wing combo price was in the 8 dollar range when i got rang out i was charged 15 plus dollars!!I didn't have time to realize because i was there with my very active special needs son. Nice way to rip off people!!Never again. Sad because I've always has wonderful experiences with local businesses!!
