Booked a three course meal a couple of months ago so forgot what we had ordered. What a wonderful surprise! We both had the most delicious garlic mushrooms, followed by roast beef then a fab cheesecake with cream. Great value for money. Served freshly made...and tasty. We were made to feel very welcome with the staff making sure every course was OK for us. Will be back soon. Thanks to all. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The White Horse:
has a cattle yorshire pudding wrap the yorkshire was not cost and the bark was full of fat, we couldn't even cut through. you can say that it was taken over by someone else that it went drastically downhill. the pint was nice. View all feedback.

Mydelf, the wife and my son visited the white horse last week and each had a main course. All the meals were eatable and no problems with the quantity but the room itself is quite dated and the tables too close especially for me who...is on the larger size. The young lady serving was quick and friendly. Would I go again, probably as I have had a lot worse meals.
Lovely meal good choice, staff friendly and very helpful. Chef Ian helps with all food allergies. Live music which was very good
Wanted to deliver a Sunday dinner, but it came cold and with extra armchairs, which I expressly said, no armchair
