Veronica Fish And Oyster

This is at least our fifth time enjoying Veronica's. And it definitely will not be the last. They continue to excel with their hospitality and service. The food was absolutely fantastic. It is a pleasure to return to a restaurant where you know the food and service is always going to be spectacular.

Using OpenTable, with just one week in beautiful Anna Maria Island, we tried our best to tee up what we felt could be some of the very best cuisine on the Gulf Coast, within range. We were hesitant to venture off the islands of AMI, Longboat, and St. Armands, but Sarasota was calling, and we answered that call at a place known as Veronica's Fish and Oyster. What a great experience it was. We started with super fresh oysters on the half shell along with grilled octopus. They were both excellent. Lisa was then treated to her first-ever Redfish (I know, that sounds crazy), plus some of the best Thai Whole Snapper that I've ever tasted. This truly rivaled what we've experienced on the streets of BKK. So if you ever get the chance and you're in the Sarasota area, this one's definitely worth a visit. 5 solid stars from us. MJ

Great for a relaxed date night. Our server Dylan was knowledgeable on the menu yet relaxed and didn't make us feel rushed which was so refreshing. The food was so delicious, all of it. We'll definitely be back.
