Wedding Event Review This summer I coordinated a wedding that decided to hire Curveball Slider Truck to cater the outdoor reception and they were a great choice! Justin was communicative and very easy to work with. They arrived right on time and kept the appetizers well stocked before we moved onto the main slider course. All of the guests raved about the food and overall the brides were delighted with the service. View all feedback.
What Efren N doesn't like about Curveball Food Truck:
They've been better. Order 2 of the curve balls and David chicken. Everything was dry and the little amount of sauce did not help. Fries were soggy $45 plus a tip. Not worth it. Very disappointed. The dog liked it View all feedback.
Darn good burger. One of the better food trucks out there 5 stars for that. Would order from them again. I had the curveball which has the pork belly on top of a beef patty. The serving size of pork was respectable, but really, you can never have too much pork belly. The box with two sliders was of good weight. The beef patties are made with fresh ground beef and cooked there to order. These are thick and perfectly cooked medium with a bit of pink in the middle. I got there when they opened so no one was in front of me. It was a fast turn around so just had to wait for them to cook and flip. On a table in front they had napkins and ketchup. Just wondering what 's the restaurant cabal against mustard nowadays?
Corporate Event Review We had Curveball cater to our work event today and while the food was good the service really left a bad taste in my mouth. We had three options to choose from. It was basically regular sliders, chicken sliders, or mushroom sliders. My coworker went with the regular slider while i went for chicken. He ordered before I did and got a verbal number 69 which meant I was 70. While I was waiting for my food there was an order sitting at the window. My coworker assumed it was for him and grabbed it. Turned out it was my order. The gentleman that took my order came to the window and asked who took the order. I told him 69 took it. He got annoyed and said That was your order. Why are people just taking food? F idiot . My coworker came back and the guy at the window yelled at him to not take food from the window. All we had to do was switch the boxes since my coworker hadn 't touched it yet. No biggie but this guy seemed annoyed at the everything. I got the food and it was okay. The chicken had Buffalo and blue cheese which was nice not too strong. The portions were small but good. Rating is mostly for the service and the average food.
The buffalo chicken sliders are the best. The burger sliders aren't too bad either. I'm always a little sad when this food truck isn't in P.H. On Wednesday nights.
We asked Curveball to cater our recent summer HOA picnic event, and the reviews from the homeowners were favorable without exception. Justin and his Team were very friendly and efficient, and the food was GREAT! Order the Curveball; it is large, juicy and the best slider I've ever had. The salad was fresh and crisp, the dressing was tasty and the fries just right.
I've ordered from here a lot and food has been reliably good until recently and they seem to be applying shrinkflation to their sliders. Got a hershiser and the meat portion was noticeably smaller, but the worst part was the condiments. In the past they were overflowing, this time barely any and an insultingly small portion of blue cheese where I had to ask for more, even then barely enough.
