Not bad at all. As a first-timer at La Puente, I was fortunate to stumble in just in time for the Wednesday lunch special, an enormous smothered burrito with cheese and a generous helping of either rice or beans. What Grady O'Keefe doesn't like about La Puente:
You Never Know What Price You're Going To Get. The food is okay not fantastic but not bad. The service is like all the other La Puente's in the valley they act put out that you're there. Weird because I think it's family owned and you'd think they'd be glad to have customers spending money to support their family's livlihood... Customer service. the people working in the front counter are so rude. I never go there again! new people to hide!!!!
Operating times. fasten their website, or place a sign in the window. instead of getting false information
Eating is good...customer service is not. we always meet at least one worker in this restaurant who has a huge chip on the shoulder. it is always a cry, and it is in the rule either the waitress or the dame at the front that rings the tabs. la frontera has exactly the same eating (because they are recipes coming from the same family) but they service is so much more friendly!
Customer. I really have to say good food! I was in other Mexican restaurants, but had something always wrong as a taste would never be the taste, they would hope that u went when a good cook worked. but I never had this problem here! I just love the smothered burrito with a ride! my yr eats it too. all lil bit we will come again and again!
Good food, not so good service. I have always loved La Puente's food. I used to love their service too. They were friendly and would check back with you and acted like they were at least happy you came in. Their service now is terrible but if you are ok with just going in to get a good meal and are not worried so much about the service it is good food . Wouldn't recommend getting anything to go because they always will not give you exactly what you order or ask for.
