I eat at this location a couple times a week because it is by far the best location in Maine. The whole crew is very friendly and quick. Tommy specifically is an absolute legend and has my wrap ready for me by the time I walk in almost every time. Someone please give this whole crew a raise and a promotion haha. View all feedback.
What Timothy Moberg doesn't like about D'angelo Grilled Sandwiches:
Overall it's not that bad, but when you ask for extra cheese on your number 9 pocket, you would think they would cook and melt the cheese with inside the meat but they don't, they put it on top of the sandwich so when you open the package to consume your sandwich it's all melted to the packaging. The restaurant has a very friendly staff and offers prompt service, conveniently located across from the bus stop. They were just what I needed for dinner tonight.
I spent two months in South Portland and visited this restaurant nearly every day for their incredible teriyaki chicken rice bowl. I also really enjoyed their Thanksgiving sub, which comes with a side of gravy. I appreciate all the menu options, and the staff always made me feel welcome—each visit felt like catching up with old friends. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. Enjoy!
D'Angelo's has been serving excellent subs for years. I really enjoy the flavor and texture of their sub rolls. The service is quick and efficient, and the subs are made fresh to order.

I guess it all depends on who the cook is that day, because some days my sandwich is cooked perfectly, the cheese is melted perfectly all through the sandwich, but then some days it's like they forgot to put the cheese in with the meat while cooking and just decided to throw the cheese on top where it melts to the packaging, when you open it.
