Mends Street Cafe - South Perth

We ate breakfast at this restaurant only to use the $20 voucher provided by Peninsula Riverside Apartments during our stay. It was conveniently close to the apartment. We didn't realize that it was recommended to make a reservation, as many tables were already reserved on a Saturday morning in early November. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed an excellent view of the river from our table. However, the sunlight streaming in through the blinds made it a bit warm, and it would have been better to have them raised.

The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the service is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend making regular visits to this restaurant. I will definitely be coming back again.

The meal was unsatisfactory, the service slow, the tables were not cleared, and there was a mouse scurrying around! I will not be returning to this restaurant.

What a great location in South Perth, short walk up from the ferry and the river. Very friendly staff, delicious generous food servings, and on top of that Vietnamese Coffee. We will be back!

My wife and I had Sunday breakfast here very good, with a selection of meals without going overboard, good coffee. The service was excellent and friendly, even though though the outside was somewhat crowded. Highly recommend and will return.
