Suites At Sunchase - South Padre Island

The rooms were very nice but very cold. Brr with only a sheet and light cover there were no extra linens to stay warm. Also there was no continental breakfast available. The employees were very courteous.

We booked last minute and I cannot complain. We stayed in room 408 with a comfortable king size bed. The room size was impressive and had a great shower. I would stay here again.If your going ti spend the whole day at the beach then this place is perfect.

Thought we booked at Sunchase IV, booked 2 rooms for 3 nights...No wifi in the hotel much less in the rooms. Asked for password and was told it was not needed. Old towels, and small towels at that. Big rooms but hallways are hot and have a bad smell. No access to the beach. Smallest TVs, old sofas, and rugs. Requested other rooms and was told no, could not leave because I wouldn't get refund. So stuck here for the remainder of rhe stay. Terrible!!!

The receptionist was very kind. However, the parking is horrible. The cars are so squeezed in together that it's so dangerous to park there. The entrance is very hard to find. The hotel looks like an abandoned building. The inside of the hotel isn't that bad, but again; presentation is everything. For Labor Day weekend, they charge you a whopping $188.00 to spend the night there. This is a 2-star hotel that is charging you like if you booked at the omni. Please read the other reviews before you stay. I will say the staff is the only reason I'm giving it two stars she was very kind and professional.

One of the worst hotel experiences I 've ever experienced. I 'm actually in the process of trying to find another hotel for me and my wife. Everything looked beautiful on the website, and the price was fair. That was a mistake. Just like the pictures of burgers from McDonald 's, it doesn 't look the way its advertised. The building looked more like a parking garage for the neighboring hotel. Took me awhile to discover the entrance.As we were checking in the clerk gave me a tag to put in my car window so we don 't get towed from the parking lot. As I went to put it I 'm the car, it was being pulled away by a tow truck! I had to run and flag him down showing him my tag and explain we were in the process of checking in! Fortunately his partner verified that and they put my car down.Service:we checked in late and the night guy was slow and uncaring. It was 1:45 in the morning and we couldn 't find a luggage cart anywhere. The front desk clerk was useless. I called the front desk to speak to a manager in the morning. Never heard back after they said the manager would call me.The Room:ice bucket had potato chip crumbs from a previous guest. The pillowcase looked like someone had slept sweaty and dirty, driped drool from their mouth (I hope that 's what it was.. ..eeewww). There was only one towel and one rag. There 's spattered food on the wall by the microwave. I 'm surprised I haven 't seen roaches cause it feels so unclean. My wife is short and she shower head is like 8 ' high!The owners just don 't care and are letting this place go to hell. There 's enough one-time visitors to keep them afloat it seems. The only good thing about this place is that most places are within walking distance. Please don 't waste your money here. Read at least one third of the reviews and find somewhere else.Walkability: Everything is within a very short walking distance. Food, beaches, stores, entertainment.
