What Scenic12419787907 doesn't like about The Catherine Wheel:
Unfortunately we had a bad meal. The eggs and chips that came with the ham were stone cold. My burger was dry, overcooked and tasteless. Our waitress was doing her best. I hope our complaint was passed onto the kitchen. We want to support local pubs, but this was terrible. View all feedback.

It looks really nice pub. first visit we came to meet some old friends. it is quite cozy in the inner and a charming garden on the side next to the public parking lot. it is a very quiet opposite in the evening, so we sat one out in the garden and had ordered their pizza from a small window in the garden. we (including the children) had 3 different pizzen with kiesty garlic bread and were excellent. the bar had a nice selection of real ale that were also excellent. we had the dog with us and she was allowed in the bar that was as big as it got cold outside. there is nothing this pub doesn't like and we will definitely come back to a warmer day, with the children and dog, for a pint and a pizza in the garden.
Looked in the garden to drink after a nice walk along the thethesweg in the direction of the pangbourne. cured by a pizza, when the kitchen is opened by 5.00 clock. nicely friendly place with children walking around, enjoying themselves.
As we expected the previous review, we would like to clarify the events that occurred. we noticed them first when they seemed a little sharp and were rubbed over the poor, we immediately reacted with the first aid and give them a gips. the next interaction we had was when we temporarily locked the pup to clean the toilets and bar, they decided to tear the sign of the door and knock the door to win our attention. when they asked what the problem was, they have been going to ran and rave about the intention to use the toilet when the manager confronts them about their rudeness and hit a change in their ton and stop them defocusing the workers. at this point, a young lady politely asked to come to the pub to use the laminis who had now been cleaned, and was happy to get in. after this fact they have continued to abuse the manager even further when he politely asked if they want to use the toilet they continue to enter the urinal and urinal, but the footprints sucked their shoes. much luck drying out your shoes.
Beautiful location, rooms absolutely gorgeous, food amazing and staff hospitality excellent. Looking forward to my next stay here. Good luck to you all with your new management
