the pan fried pork chop and dumplings are delicious, as are the noodles and rice dishes. they need to try out the special dishes that they cannot find in other nj Chinese shops, like spicy fish fillets in hot bon sauce and drilling with black mushrooms and baby bok choy. try the special value lunchtime M-F, closed Tuesday. menu on the website. I've been here many times, but I've never written a review. every time I come, I order the suppenknödel right away, as it takes about 10 minutes to steam. sooo good. I brought some non-Asia friends who never had suppenknödel and. they all loved it! I also ordered rice cake and singapur nudels for them to try. they were all satisfied with the executed and finished everything. be prepared as this is not a frills hole in the wall restaurant. there are tabs, but they circle their order on paper and give it to the person in the front. they also serve tee from the big urn or take a soda out of the refrigerator. if they want ice water, they ask the person in the front. eating comes fresh and fast. very authentic food. the place is full of Chinese. they know that a restaurant is good when their own people regularly apply them!
Three of us stopped in for a Saturday 1:30 lunch. First timers. Inside there are Six Tables and three booths, all but one table was occupied with diners. We ordered several different Dim Sum and one entree...Beef Chow Fun. Excellent Dim Sum. Really Excellent Chow...Fun. We will be back. Service was great.
We drive 35 minutes to come here, and we come here often. The soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings are excellent . All of the soups, terrific. Beef in XO sauce, pork and eggplant and salt and pepper calamari are standouts. Great family owners as...well.
We read all of the reviews and were excited to have dim sum there this past Sunday. The skins on the dumplings were thick and gummy and the filling not flavorful. We tried three different types and none were good. The only redeeming aspect of...the meal was the vegetable dish which was good. Other than that we can not recommend this restaurant.
Wow. this place was amazing! I'm still refreshing from the spicy ones, the steamed black beans and the green! I also had the sweet soup and it was nourishing and the sweet were so fresh. I can't expect to try even more delicious dishes next time! it's a tiny place, but not being deceived - if they're looking for the best Chinese cuisine round-definitiw they go here!
