Plato - South Lanarkshire

My own and my fiancée went to the other night for the first time. we are already regular customers of the Italian at redstones and love it there so had hoped that would be of a similar standard. we were definitely disappointed! we had a nice meal and a brilliant night out. we had to start the meat and cheese plate, the plate for 1 is more than enough for two to share as starter. the ugly and tzatziki were beautiful with the pitta, then we both had the chicken sauce that was amazing! back to my childhood vacation to the Greeks and my favourite meal while I was there! the waitress that served us was absolutely beautiful and could not have done to make sure we were well with drinks and eating on camp. they would be highly recommended! we will be coming back soon

Beautiful restaurant! friendly staff vasilis kerry. very attentive! Greek music plays this place very authentic! the ordered house wine was not disappointed! starter. I had drowned feta saganaki Feta cheese in filo pastry with honey and sesame seeds. htg to die for !!!! hubby had weeping leaves!!!! main course moussaka for hubby and I had chicken skewers, can not remember the Greek name, but again delicious. massive portion. too big for us and they were more than happy to give us a doggy bag, even altho we have no dog! halloumi chips were super! dessert crepes with honey and zimt vanilleeis. simply super! overall a wonderful Greek experience in the heart of bothwell! will be def back and will recommend def to all our friends!

After living in Cyprus for 5 years, I have probably visited more than a few traditional Greek Cypriot taverns and I can honestly say that the quality of food in plato is so good if not better than anything I have eaten before. I had the spinach pie and the huhn souvlaki and they were excellent. an absolute must.

For the first time eating Greek food and now it will not be the last. personal very attentive and nothing too much annoyed. eating was deliciously very full. highly recommended. Thank you.

We had a great meal here yesterday. The food was amazing, service great and place is really friendly and cosy! Will be back again soon.
