While some guests have faced discourteous service—particularly on busy quiz nights—others praise the warm atmosphere created by the landlady and attentive staff. Many have enjoyed the diverse menu featuring hearty pub classics at reasonable prices, with highlights including delicious burgers and comforting desserts. The charming bar and inviting beer garden add to its appeal, making it a convenient stop for travelers. Overall, The Fox has the potential to be a welcoming pitstop, though reservations are recommended to ensure a pleasant visit.
