Al's is great. We were driving through Vermont on our way east. I am glad we stopped here. We enjoyed our meal and the whole Al's experience. The burgers were a bit small so make sure you order two of them but they are tasty. This is a typical American diner right down to the neon lights and old school music. What woodlewis doesn't like about Al's French Frys:
Really grateful that they offer a vegan option, if you’re out with a group, but it is made by Dole and very fake tasting, and only fake fruit flavors. The orange tasted like children’s aspirin that I remember from my childhood! We finally have a better option in Burlington, so this would be a last resort. View all feedback.
Vermonters probably call kreemees soft ice? nice to see the option nondairy on a local ice stand
Large vegan creamees aromas vary by day. all fruit flavor

One of the favourites of our family in summer and during the holiday season. there are great sitting opportunities in the interior and a beautiful small playground with seating outdoors, especially in summer for the children. the food has always been top-notch with its signature french fries unbeatable in the nation state vermont. beautiful to visit this place when I am in vermont. cheers
The French fries were excellent! I would be 400lbs if I lived near this place! the hot dogs were also great! everything was cheap and everything was fresh and cooked to order. we will definitely go back to Al’s when we are back in the burlington!
