we had a nice time here. the service was excellent and the food delicious! but the organic red wine was the showstopper. it was so good! the gnocchi al napoli was very good, but they did not have the vegan cheese option as suggested by another reviewer. the salat was good, but needed more shorts and less spinat. I had the vegan lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious—I highly recommend it! However, it arrived a bit warm instead of hot. It came with just a small amount of arugula, and I think it would have been better with a nice salad instead, so it might be worth asking if they can substitute that. Love it when a restaurant puts effort into having a vegan menu!! Had the bruschetta (asked the staff to veganize it and they had no problem) and the gnocchi. So yummy, will definitely be back!
The basil pesto vegan gnocchi was divine! The service was surprisingly okay for a place on South Bank catering to tourists. I would bring my parents here which is the ultimate test! Kids meal was enjoyed by little one too. I’ll be back!
I had the vegan lasagne it was really delicious and I do recommend it. It was somewhat luke warm, rather than hot, when it arrived though. It came with a bucket load of rocket and may have benefitted from a nice salad instead, so it may be worth asking if you can swap it out. Sadly, there was only one vegan white wine on the menu. It was quite expensive for a small glass but it did taste good. The atmosphere, service and music was good so it is worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat.
I really appreciate when a restaurant offers a vegan menu! I tried the bruschetta (the staff was happy to make it vegan) and the gnocchi. Both were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning!
The basil pesto vegan gnocchi was absolutely delightful! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, especially for a tourist spot on the South Bank. I would definitely bring my parents here as the ultimate test! Even the kids' meal was enjoyed by my little one. I'll definitely be returning!
