Presto Pizza & Pasta - South Brisbane

I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews of The Spaghetti House Trattoria. I had a wonderful experience there last Friday afternoon and I will definitely be returning.

Don't be swayed by the appearance or fabricated Italian accents at this restaurant. My pasta dish was disappointing, tasting like overcooked noodles in a low-quality broth.

Even though I'm not a local, I've been staying in the South Bank area all week and this meal was the best dinner I've had so far (out of 5 nights).

A colleague and I almost ordered from Presto Pizza and Pasta a few days ago on UberEats - so glad we didn't! At the time, I didn't realize that they were one of the small shops between Little Stanley Street and South Bank.  I happened to come across them today and decided to try their pizza against my better judgement. The Pepperoni Pizza was poor - the beef pepperoni was OK, but the crust was hard/crunchy and the cheese was cheap and runny.  At $6.50 for a small rectangle of pizza that they cup into two slices, it isn't even a good value (the same slices are $7.50 on UberEats). I would avoid Presto Pizza and Pasta.

Great range of pizza and pasta to choose from, reasonably priced. Protip: if you're eating anywhere near the birds, be sure to guard your food. The ibis jumped onto table to help themselves when you're not watching
