Mediocre pub food with a middling beer selection. Very loud. Very slow service. Probably attractive for young people looking for a loud mood. None of the foods were especially fresh or hot. Nachos needed more toppings to chip ratio. Everything was very salty. View all feedback.
First new restaurant in Southie my family and I tried. Got there around 4 kitchen didn’t open till 5 but that wasn’t an issue at all sat at the bar and the service was awesome. No complaints about the drinks, food. Or service. I highly recommend Backyard Betty’s. Welcome to Southie!!!

Fabulous, trendy and retro with a great staff and delicious food. Can’t wait to do back.
Food is great, atmosphere is really cool. Boozy milkshakes are awesome. Pac man arcade games, and cartoons old school TVs. Great place to hang out!
We have been here a few times since opening and for the incredible service alone we give it a 5 star!! The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourself, managers are always at the door welcoming you in. Not to mention the food, drinks and vibes— they did it ALL right— looking forward to very regular visits!! Be sure to try the pizzas and boozy shakes!!
