this place is really good, but really just an option, unless they want to make a expensive poke bowl. the vegetarian rice bowl without sauce (the sauces have fish) is good, but a little dry without soy sauce is only option. the vegetarian ramen expressly does not say vegan options on the menu. the restaurant is not frills and tiny, but has a beautiful atmosphere. sad to update with less stars. it was discovered that the ramennudeln eggs have been eaten after they have eaten many paints (owners knew that I am vegan, did not inform me about noodles with eggs). updated by previous review on 2018-10-30 updated by previous review on 2021-08-24 updated by previous review on 2021-08-24 View all feedback.

This place has added vegan option some weeks after opening.
This is my favorite place to eat in downtown Sonora. The raven is so good black garlic oil is my personal favorite) and the new Poke bowls are delicious! The pig bell that comes with your ramen is so tender and the broth is full of taste. I love the ability to build my own Poke bowl with a huge selection of delicious toppings, so the combinations are endless. The waiting staff is always helpful and nice. So often they know us when we come in! Friendly place with great foods from great people who really care about making high-quality dishes.
Let me first say that I am probably the last person who would write a Yelp review, but I must admit that I can drive from San Mateo to my house holiday home in Twain Harte weekly and not wait to eat there. The place is really cozy and Shawna n John are great people that you feel very welcome. Trust me the spicy dish is to die for!!!!
