Fantastic brunch option! I had the Elvis waffle special with added strawberries, and it was delicious! The waffle was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fruit was perfectly ripe. The breakfast options were very reasonably priced! View all feedback.
What R L H doesn't like about Nu Kitchen Somerville:
For service: Ordered two salads to eat outside, therefore asked they be dressed not dressing on the side. Got there, dressing on side. Asked about it and person just stared at me. Called to learn how to get it right next time, and person on phone contradicted themselves 4 times eventually acquiescing to the fact you can only get it on the side, leading one to conclude these are premade. For food: The avocado is brown... View all feedback.

New to the immediate area and was excited to see a vegan friendly place so close to us with brunch items. I usually don’t tend to love the counter service set-up for brunch or dinner, but my husband and I wanted a quick brunch. We got the scrambled tofu and buffalo chikn wrap, both of which were pretty mediocre or even below par. Coffee was even not very good, which I’m not usually super picky about when I just need some coffee to wake up. The workers were very nice, which was the most positive part of the experience. Food didn’t take long and they had enough seating. Though I was surprised to learn they only have a few locations and only in MA, as it gives off corporate vibes that led me to believe it was in multiple states. Could use some menu and recipe tweaking, and increase the small local business feel of the restaurant since they are one! Will be back to try other menu items.
First time stopping in. Delicious smoothie but a long wait — 15 min wait for a smoothie at off hours.
They gave us 1/3 to go items. Took so long with the other two my cousin ate her food there. Reminded them about our order they forgot to make. No apologies, no free cookie. We ordered to go because we were in a rush. V unfortunate. Food was good but small serving size for the price. If serving size were bigger you’d be more satisfied with the whole experience

For food: The avocado is browned and hardened, and the chicken must have been carved in the dark, just a massive tendon through every piece. I’ve had better salads on planes. Straight in the garage, waste of $32
