Incredibly delicious food, very friendly and friendly staff, the restaurant is great! The atmosphere is very soothing, with quiet music in the background it is just perfect! My fish and seafood were perfectly prepared, it was tender, juicy and roasted right at the place. The selection of the buffet is large, but it is not exaggerated with the quantities of individual dishes. View all feedback.
What Lilo Ahrens doesn't like about Chinesische Mauer:
after the reconstruction of the Chinese wall, the restaurant is very modern, but unfortunately it is very emotionless from the subjective feeling. the food is very tasty, but unfortunately the floor at the buffet was very sticky, which gives me the impression of lack of cleanliness, now they have laid a carpet along the buffet so that you can no longer feel the sticky flows. if you want to enjoy something better, the... After the Asia Ming in Haan and the Yellow River in the Hofgarten have unfortunately closed, after a few years we have tried the Chinese Wall again. Many years ago one of our favorite restaurants of this is nothing left!! Not to talk about the unorganized table planning, tables are at least too narrow in the rear area, considering that in buffet selection someone has to walk around. Acoustics more than bad. There's something better in the front area. After a waitress had placed us in the back, another came and said that this table was reserved, even though no one came over the whole time. But we should first sit until another table was released. We sat there for a few minutes until we got a table in the front. It was a little more pleasant. The buffet is actually a disaster!! If you get something like that, you can also buy frozen goods in the Lidl, which is not the other thing. The sushi has not been freshly prepared, was machine-made and with great probability from the discounter, where Balsamico, Ketchup and Majo were also made, brand Acentino and Kania from Lidl. : I usually know it from all Asian restaurants so that beside Sambal Oelek also soy sauce is on the table. No, soy sauce is next to the sushi, but there you look for the small peels. You run around the buffet, because there's nothing to be expected. It's totally unorganized. Or why are the nuts next to the soup?!! Little spoons? Missing! Salad selection? Difficult. Rice? You can only scratch the remains from the pot... Otherwise, all the selection VERY small, and of all that is still there, so little or nothing more in the containers. At the fresh Mongolian buffet of every fish variety when it comes up, 3 mini pieces, if ever there. Salmon z. was not filled up all the time. Haifisch was not a shark in life, who knows what was sold to us here. Gambas in the sauce undamaged, is very pleasant then to puhlen! Cheap canned fruit, empty. Ice cream container empty. Eclairs and cake snail probably also Lidl! were still half frozen. The finished dishes are not worth a review... And that at 20.00 a.m., where the restaurant has opened for 3 hours, and surely one or the other guest is whipped up and wants to serve themselves from the buffet. Very disappointing. Around the buffet, the floor tacked like this or it was so slippery that you were almost flying. The toilet in the basement is just as it was 20 years ago. Wash basin old and dirty and drain rusty. Just cold water. Not a bit of comfort, you're happy when you get out. Apart from the fact that disabled people must be sweating all through the ribs, they do not come to the ground! All in all, here is every euro you spend too much! Never again!
Duck was seldom relocated, but the quality was very good. also the gambas (fresh, juicy and the tank was well removed). Choice otherwise more clearly, Sushi ́s completely uninteresting. I always found the Yellow River in the Hofgarten better, but it is now unfortunately closed. The chin.Mauer is also very inexpensive and at noon.
This food has nothing to do with Asian cuisine! Cheapest meat, very small selection! Only to recommend if you want to eat masses for little money!
My last review of the Chinese Wall was also positive, as the food was really good, but when I was back in the restaurant after the change, I was really excited. The restaurant is much more modern, but has not lost its Chinese charm, the buffet is much bigger and there are also international dishes, both raw (these dishes are cooked by the cooks on request) and traditional Chinese dishes, as you know from other restaurants. The service on site is very good and there is a small separated smoking area that is very beautifully designed. I can really recommend this restaurant after remodeling.
Very friendly contact, quick service, very courteous. We were very happy with the supplied foods, it was a roller evening even without a restaurant atmosphere. We like to come back -or order simply!
