El Camino Lounge - Socorro

The New Mexican cuisine at this restaurant is very good. The menu is extensive with generous portions. In addition to Mexican dishes, there are many options to choose from. I ordered a combination plate with a chili rellano and a beef enchilada, both delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, and hardworking. The waitresses we interacted with made us feel like we were in a quaint New Mexican town. Their service was excellent and they were enjoyable to chat with about the restaurant's history and the local area. The building has a nostalgic Route 66 vibe, despite being located south of the actual corridor. Some may call it dated, but I find it charming. There are separate bar and restaurant areas, both offering the same menu and drinks. In a time of generic chain restaurants, this place is a refreshing change.

The El Camino is a classic New Mexican diner. The food is very authentic, the kind of Mexican food you can't get anywhere else in the US. The pie is also delicious! Highly recommended anytime

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! I have visited twice and have had a great experience both times. The Mid-century design is also a lovely touch that adds to the atmosphere.

The restaurant has pleasant and welcoming waitstaff, as well as skilled chefs who prepare delicious meals. The food is tasty and satisfying.

That was okay. our waitress was very nice and attentive. the facility I get is older, but the owner has to rent more pure to come. the bathroom was disgusting! black wash basin, haare on the whole floor absolutely rough! in the area was the floor sticky and dirty probably from days before. the tables were sticky and menus. even a sparkling smell in there. very sad. they need to make a deep cleansing! if it's dirty in front of your face, what's going on in this kitchen? I get the short staff, but then they turn off a day and pick up their restaurant. the health department has to make a visit.
