What a wonderful place. We were there for the spring evening for the Cascade Voice Academy, but really enjoyed the staff and the food. Also hanged on the terrace with our black dog. Soon another Audrey Hepburn! View all feedback.
What Haley Kerchman doesn't like about The Black Dog:
We were hopeful this would be a good lunch spot, but it took over 45 minutes for a salad and quesadilla to come out. The staff gave us multiple updates it would be “out in 5 minutes” or “it will be out soon”. It was not and they were not apologetic for the speed. It was also not busy to warrant this delay. Overall, very disappointed with our experience here. Service: Dine in View all feedback.
Only had time to stop off for a Pepsi and a cookie, but the place is fab. Live music on a Sunday afternoon was awesome...didn't want to leave, but had to head back down to Seattle. Will definitely visit again when over from the UK.
We came across the Black Dog Cafe before a hike at Twin Falls and had the very best lunch! Great atmosphere and delicious food (we loved the split pea soup and Tchaikovsky turkey Reuben). Be sure to check out the artwork and the fun bathrooms! Friendly people too (right across from the old train station and museum).
No better place in the Valley to hear some great music, great food and drinks, and the best part is the friends you meet there!

Love the Black Dog! Smaller menu, but each item is top notch, and the Cilantro Pesto Quesadilla is our favorite all the time! Her Natcho is a certain second choice-big flavors. Nice place for music and other art.
