What Melanie doesn't like about Snack Abdou:
The food was not that good.... My biggest problem with this restaurant owner is that in less than 2 minutes he tried to steal money from me... The first by telling me that he was charging me 10% for the tip... so far no problem... but in reality he was charging me 25%. When I paid I gave him 200 dirhams and he “forgot” to give me 100 dirhams.... he only gave me change.... fortunately I noticed it. Service: Dine in Me... View all feedback.
Very bad service. Asking for 10% more when it's 25% more... forgot to give the exact change, in my country we call that a thief Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Excellent service, delicious and varied food at a very good price, the friendliness and attention of the staff is overwhelming. Frequented by tourists and locals, good atmosphere. Anyway, very good here, I recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The dishes are good, I don't have much to complain about, apart from the fact that I paid for a camel tagine which tasted like a beef tagine... but good benefit of the doubt, on the other hand the fact to add supplements here and supplements there at the end and in the end it's 30% more on the price without having even a smile, really very disappointed with the behavior of the manager Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Simple and pleasant owner who tries to facilitate. They took a little longer than we would like, but everything was fine. Tajine delicious and free olives. 75 dirhams for a tagine, a cheese omelet and chips and a large water. Service: Dine in Price per person: MAD 1–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Bit of a shambles really. We asked for things multiple times, took a while to deliver too. The food itself wasn't any good. He seemed to really care to bring you in then acted confused when you asked for anything. He ran out of orange juice (which is fine) and proceeded to tell us this news and alternatives in french twice. Even after we'd asked him to translate to English. He even took a while to give us the bill (and had to rewrite it because he seemingly misplaced the original order that he wrote for himself). All we ordered was some drinks, a mixed taco (actually a burrito, for those who don't know) and a house pizza, which is the same as the taco but in pizza form. It wasn't complicated but it seemed like words and logic just took a while to land. This restaurant is in a tourist hotspot and his competition next door has hundreds of 5 star reviews, it's like they don't care.
