Jarasa Kabob - Skokie

I enjoyed dinner with my son and husband, and everything we ordered was delicious. The fattoush salad and baba ghanouj were both fantastic. I had the steak kabob dinner, while my husband chose the mixed plate, and both were very tasty. We also appreciated the four different sauces we sampled. My son especially loved the yellow rice.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving Middle Eastern cuisine. The customer service is outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. God bless everyone here!

We ordered the mixed grill and specifically requested that the meat be well done, but some of it was cold and not cooked to our preference. The chicken shawarma had a gristly texture and fell short of my expectations. The hummus was okay, but the pita bread was served cold and limp, lacking that warm, fresh quality. I had hoped this place would become a regular stop for my family and me before heading to the airport, but the quality and quantity of the food did not align with the cost. After our meal, we had to stop at a gas station because the food clearly wasn't fresh. While the ambiance is appealing and the service is excellent, the food and overall experience left something to be desired. I probably won’t be returning, but it seems they have a loyal clientele who enjoy their offerings. A bonus is that they offer Zabiha halal options.

Great food and good service you can tell they really care about their service. Lots of choices and everything was quite tasty. We will definitely be returning.

Delicious shawarma, great lunch specials and kind service. Always get a yummy lentil soup sample to warm the soul. Nice to eat in or carry out. There is a cauliflower sandwich for vegetarians.
