Very good restaurant, nicely furnished, with very friendly landlords. We ate kig ha farz, a Breton speciality, it was excellent. The restaurant is beautifully located and is definitely recommended. View all feedback.
Feels like home. Very nice people, you feel welcomed. If the weather allows you to, I'd recommend you eat oustide to embrace the atmosphere of this place. Prices are very reasonable, and quality meals. Very romantic too. They have a nice dog, and will accept yours as well.
After a nice walk in Huelgoat we found this place as we went on our way back to Landerneau. The place was pretty empty when we arrived getting emptier as we ate. The crepes were good having and trying Andouille on it for the first time, and as we were hungry we followed this with another but this time a normal one of cheese, ham and egg. The crepes were washed down with a nice bottle of local cider. The service was good and quick but i think this may just have been due to there being no one else in the place.
We stayed locally at a gite in St Cadou, which is only 15 minutes drive away. We ate here three times in a two week period and each time was a good as the last. Excellent, food and service. We have eaten the Breton Salade which consists of potatoes, lardons, onions and garlic bound in a bechamel sauce, some crepes, the trout with almonds , croque madame and entrecote steak. All have been excellent as has the white wine. Plenty of space to park outside where there is a pedalo pond and fishing lake. A large working mill wheel is attached to the side of the restaurant driven by the water that flows into the lakes where there is a resident heron. They accepts dogs willingly. Both owners speak English which is a bonus and are very friendly. If we come back we will certainly be eating here again. Restaurant is upstairs and the cafe/bar is downstairs, Plus plenty of space outside to sit in good weather. It is suitable for families, couples and groups.
Wonderful, fresh, local food, in a super ambiance. One of the best, if not the best, restaurants we've been to in France.
Closed, despite the site that says that is open 7 days a week in July and August. Disappoint.
