With a... read more One of the best restaurants in Brussels. Its côte de veau is superb, and everything in the menu is delicious and chic. It has become our favorite place. With a Tradition Menu of 37 euros and a menu a la carte with fair prices, they will see us very often there. Just be sure to make a reservation because it's a very exclusive place with just 23 seats.

I had always been interested in Les Deux Maisons, but I wasn't sure of its opening hours, especially during the pandemic. While headed to another place in Stockel, we finally decided to give it a try. We both opted for the set menu, which was reasonably priced for the high quality of food offered. The wine selection that accompanied the duck dish was exceptional. The dorade was cooked perfectly, with a crisp exterior but tender inside. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with in both French and English. The Bib Gourmand accolade is well-earned. I look forward to returning to this hidden gem in my neighborhood.

If the kitchen remains excellent, the portions of lean served in our two plates were really indecent (even for us who are small eaters). The reception and the service were not at the height (e.g., to make the waitress specify the formulas for the accompaniment of the wines) and the wine service to the glass of the most fleeting. This leaves a general impression disappointing. Too bad
