What John Chiew doesn't like about Grids Circles Cafe:
Now Apparently, This is not just a Cafe. Cycled past last Friday evening surprised to find them still open as most cafes do not operate past 5/6pm, and at that very moment, I really needed to get off the bike for a refresh and refuel. Walked in to be greeted by the barman fixing a cocktail (my timing is how perfect and asked for a variation of the classic Negroni. It's my way of truly testing the capability of any in... I finally found my favorite cozy oasis away from home here in Grids. The delicious and unique food is amazing. The service is excellent, Ming Yang was our server who was knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, well-mannered and attentive. It feels like a comfortable oasis where I would love to eat again today. It's a great place to work from, catch up with friends, enjoy meals with loved ones, or simply have a quiet moment alone. I love the simple, hippy, minimalist decor of the restaurant, cafe, and even the restroom - simple yet beautiful and cozy. The air conditioning is a plus on hot sunny days. The prices are reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here and wanted to come back with my partner for dinner, but unfortunately they were closing soon. The second and third floors would make great private event spaces for future gatherings. This will definitely be my go-to spot for a relaxing and delicious meal. In short, this cafe feels like home.
I stopped by this restaurant on a quiet Tuesday morning, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The Kyoto cheesecake with ice cream, cream, and Biscoff crumb was delicious and well worth the price. The lavender coffee was also fragrant and tasty. Overall, spending $16 for a peaceful hour at this restaurant was definitely worth it.
I had a meeting in the restaurant's meeting room and it was a breeze. Communication with Joni was easy, and the staff were very helpful. They also served delicious lobster! I will definitely be trying out more of the refined dishes on the menu.
Very nice place to brunch and chill for the afternoon. lavender latte? was not in the main menu, but everyone recommended it, secret menu item? It was pretty good. salmon ochazuke tasted super, every bite was delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. note that they have 2 etagens, so it is not as small as it looks.
I love this cafe's vibe. I enjoy their art gallery and their brunch also really good, not only nice plating but actually well seasoned. Their coffee is perfect with brunch. They have japanese aesthetics and concept, including their staffs wearing cool kimono. I wish i could visit them again someday!
