Food was really good and server was as well! It's not gourmet Mexican food, but it's also around $13 per plate so you can't expect the world; but for cheap Mexican it's definitely worth it! View all feedback.
What Lauren Rogers doesn't like about El Jalisco Mexican:
If you want to salt sodium stroke, this is your place even the guacamole was over, salted incredibly not even just a little bit it was extreme, almost not palpable. In fact, we couldn’t eat any of it in all fairness we did eat the rice that was the only thing we cut it. I made a salad and tossed it all $70 by the way, ordered takeout. Great food, super kind and helpful staff and didn’t wait very long for food at all! Will definitely be coming back here! :

We ordered take out for a couple of families and mistakingly didn’t get all our orders during the first trip. Fortunately, we weren’t staying far from the restaurant and when I called back about the missing orders the restaurant was apologetic and comp’ed us a couple of quesos and chips. I thought this was a very nice gesture and hope to dine at this restaurant in person at some point.
El Jalisco is a weekly must have! It’s classic Mexican food that everyone will love and want to come back for. Great for all ages at all times of the day.
I don’t leave bad reviews especially with small restaurants but this is actually the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Staff was friendly but the food just was not good. We also ordered an extra side of rice and beans thinking it would be $3.25 but it was actually $3.25 for the rice and another $3.25 for the beans and no the portions were not big. I would never pay $6.50 for a side of rice and beans and when I asked about it they wouldn’t budge on the extra $3.25.
