Stopped in here to try this place out for brunch after church. Such a cute little building and loved all the French ?? accents. They don’t have a ton of seating here but there is also space in the back outside as well. I came in for Nutella crepes with bananas and wow so good! Hubby got an omelette and I saw they had pumpkin ? spice latte on the menu and I know it’s hot out but that was a yes for me! Great experience... View all feedback.
What Cloud Turner doesn't like about Authentique French Creperie:
Came in today and was shocked by what I saw. Drinks were taking forever to come out and when they did, they were wrong. I had to send mine back. Food was even coming before drinks. The service was even worse than usual. The restaurant seemed understaffed with one waiter in the front. As long as it's like this, I will not be back. View all feedback.
So a pretty little place with great Crepe options! I'm not a creppin, but my Sis who was visited in the city is, so we went here and it wasn't disappointed! Such a great experience and good crepes. It's from someone who's not in crepes. My hubs like them, so we're back!
I'm telling you, this is the real deal! If you want authentic French crepes, this is the place. The owner has done good work to choose the name of the restaurant! And I can say that because I'm French. Here I go when I am nostalgic and want to get a piece of France in Simpsonville! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the staff is always friendly. Dominique makes an amazing job. Go on!
Consistently excellent food as good a crepe as you can get outside of France (I speak from experience), and with the prices, charm, and great service of a local townie favorite! I've taken everyone from my grandparents to my fellow food obsessed friends here and everyone leaves raving about how wonderful it is. That having been said, the coffee was a bit disappointing the lattes, mochas, french press, etc. are all decent for an American diner but don't quite live up to the very high standard set by everything else. There are other places nearby to get some excellent coffee, but I'd happily pay a bit more to enjoy a first class coffee with my galette.
Cute place to get an authentic buckwheat French crepe in downtown Simpsonville. Crepes were large and delicious so much so that we didn’t have any room for a savory crepe for dessert, so we will have to go back to give those a try. Mimosas were good, but much smaller than expected for the price, hence a 4-star review. It is small, so I would recommend calling ahead for a party of more than 4. We will definitely visit again when we need a Sunday brunch spot in the area.
Delicious crepes. Good quality fruit. Friendly staff. Very fair prices. The hours are limited, but if you have the chance you should for sure try it out.
