A very good breakfast experience. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and crispy (yet not hard) with a sausage-chunk filled gravy. It was fork tender, but could have been a little bigger. What Angie B doesn't like about Hops N Drops:
Bar food. The clam chowder was terrible. It wasn’t a chowder at all but a bowl of chunky mashed potatoes with bacon and a *faint* hint of clams. Margaritas were good and the beer was cold. View all feedback.
A very good breakfast experience. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and crispy (yet not hard) with a sausage-chunk filled gravy. It was fork tender, but could have been a little bigger. The eggs benedict sauce was excellent, and the ham was soft and juicy. Parking: Parking in front is a little tight unless you have a small car, but there's plenty of parking on the side. You can no longer make a left-hand turn directly into the parking lot while heading West on Bucklin Hill Rd, so if you're coming from that direction, turn left into the Taco Time lot and park on that side. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy handicap parking at the front door, and they'll usually open the door for you.
Great dining and outstanding atmosphere, right on the water.
First time at a hops and drops. Super nice and accommodating staff. Great food and the dole whip lemonade was to die for (literally cause I have diabetes)
We came at lunch and both got slider sandwiches and fries. Just about what you would expect, although they have a nice view of the water.
Sabrina was the best ever so sweet and very kind and funny
