I'm biased bc I work w the resto group but the beef tartare is one of the best dishes ive ever had in my whole life. The fried rice dish? Amazing. Crunchy and umami! View all feedback.
What Rizelle A doesn't like about Homestead On The Roof:
4 stars for the food and cocktails. Loved coming here to try the Filipino dishes from the pandesal, manok, sinigang, and bistec. Definitely a nice spin to traditional Filipino food. 0 stars for service. Service was truly terrible. It was slow, hard to flag down our waiter, and we had to ask for our waters to be refilled countless times. For this price point of food, one would expect much better service and knowledge on the menu. We had a reservation at 6:30, and it took over half an hour to jus … – show.
Had high hopes. Server said everything's made from scratch and requested we order everything at once and they'd course it out. Instead we received all dishes at the same time, some of which were super cold. Server was too stoned to do his job right. Not cool. The roasted chicken had flabby skin and seemed like it was boiled and then put under the broiler for 2 minutes. Very disappointing.

This was the most disappointing place I’ve ever been to in our city. Food sucked, service worse. Not worth a penny honestly. Even drinks were bad. No taste to the salad and for entree we had fish, smelled like it definitely was not fresh.
Nice ambiance, but super slow service. Would not rush back
Came here last night to celebrate my anniversary. We sat outside and it was a nice environment but the lights were weirdly bright which didn’t fit with the ambiance. Overall the employees were all very nice but service was extremely slow. I understand most places are short staffed but it didn’t seem like the servers were in the weeds or anything it just took forever to get food and drinks. If you go when they have the summer menu skip the noodle dish.
