Betelnut Resort - Shrivardhan

A. Location (4/5): This place is ~1.5 kms from Diveagar beach. There's a walking trail right next to it and it takes some 15-20 minutes to reach the beach b. Check-in and Infra (5/5): We had pre-booked our rooms and hence check-in was hassle-free. The resort is houses 12 cottages, is lovely and very well maintained with lots of greenery. There's a swimming pool as well. Also had free WiFi facility c. Room (5/5): Spacious! There's a queen size bed and they provide additional single bed if requested beforehand d. Food (3/5): Now this is one big area of improvement. One day 1 we had chicken tikka masala, prawns tawa fry and chapatis. Tikka masala was very very oily; prawns were overcooked. For breakfast next day, we had upma, bread-butter and poori-bhaaji, and all items were tasty. For snacks we had potato and onion pakodas and, just like lunch, they were very oily. So, some items are better than others. I'll recommend having lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants instead (there are many khanawals nearby) e. Service (5/5): Fantastic! Very prompt and staff is polite. Special thanks to Vishnu, Praveen and Ashish for being so helpful Additional note: One thing to note is, Betelnut Resort has NO accommodation for drivers. The day we went there, one of the owners was around. When we asked him for driver's accommodation he simply said they don't provide it and that our driver can look for one nearby. His behavior and attitude wasn't welcoming at all. Even smallest of hotels and resorts keep these things in mind so a big one like Betelnut should take care of driver's stay as well. Perfect place for family. The kids loved the swimming pool and play area. Food quality and quality was nice. More menu items are expected but Shev bhaji and Rice bhakari are a must have. Its a nice resort to stay while at Diveagar, but dont get hopes too high. I would say its a reasonable place to stay at its price point vs the facilities. Ambience is good. Although breakfast is complimentary, pohe were cold. There are indoor games that you can enjoy. The beach is at a 10-15 walking distance from here. Nice ambience. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Pleasant surrounding with trees around and garden area in the middle. It got a small swimming pool too. Highly recommend for peaceful stay. According to me its a best place to stay in Diveagar. We visit this resort from last three years for atlest two times in a year for 3 days. Me and my baby like this place as beach is only on 5 to 10 min walking distance, it have a pool which is always clean and playing area as well as lawn area. The landscape is very refreshing and decent and maintained properly. The small courts beside the rooms are very attractive. In night time the the lightings are so perfect that you can just sit and enjoy the landscape outside your room. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The dining area is also very clean and it have carrom board and the pool table. Food quality is also very good and if you are sea food lover then you should must try their different thalis which are in decent price. Breakfast is also very tasty and good. All the staff over here is very polite and helpful. Overall my family love this place. Rooms: Rooms are very clean and well organized. Room size is perfect.
