What User doesn't like about Restaurant Pacini Sherbrooke:
I am a regular and the staff is always friendly, and good food. It is a bit dusty on the ducks of the ventilation and blinds. But overall it's pretty clean. It is affordable and close to the metro. View all feedback.
Pasta is their mainstay, but my husband had one of their pizzas. It was thin crust and excellent, with a chilli oil available that he really liked. The pizza offerings do include a few specialies, such as Portobello mushroom and truffle oil. I had the chicken which was very good, grilled veggies and the potato dish. I would recommend having the pasta side instead of the shoestring For a with grilled onions. The fun addition is the bread bar, with four different kinds of butter (rehular, tomato, pesto and garlic). As others have noted, the bread is thick sandwich bread and not crusty Italian, but still was fun to grill up your own. The food was good, a pretty decent variety and not limited to pasta and pizza. There are several seating areas and we found it easy to gave conversations with family who fined with us.
I suggested to my friends that we eat at Pacini's for lunch having gone there several times with my husband/ It was so disappointing. None of us were fluent in French which made ordering and paying the bill a challenge. The food was so,so. The main thing that was really good was the bread bar. Although I have gone there several times before I feel that the service, price and quality is somewhat disappointing. It's not enough to have a lunch in which I can only rave about is the bread bar.
The food was delicious. They offer a bread bar where you can help yourself to different kinds of bread and flavoured butters, and toast them over hot coals. We were disappointed that the bread was not crusty Italian bread or rolls, just regular sliced grocery-strore bread in white, whole grain, and multigrain.
Stopped in for a quick lunch, The lunch selection was great. Pizza was amazing and they had a center grill that was very unusual with a nice selection of bread and topppings.
We ate here for a business lunch because it was across the street from the offices we were visiting. Service was OK, but the menu is basic and the food simple. I had a caesar salad and soup of the day. It was good. We enjoyed our meal, it was just very ordinary and I probably wouldn 't go back, except in a pinch. The bread bar seems outdated for today 's health trends away from high-carb, high-fat foods. The breads are extremely basic, highly-processed, sandwich-bread type breads. The flavoured butters were not butter but rather a substitute, probably margarine, which none of us eat. So that was disappointing.
