Very friendly family business. The meals were very delicious, even our Sri Lankan Guide confirmed that. Only downside was, that the Rice and Curry as a plate costs half as much as the set with a small piece of papadam and 2 slices of fruit. The general portion of curry and side dishes is the same but we did not know that before and decided for the set. Our guide had the plate and it was obviously the better deal. The... A really nice family run cafe. The staff are very friendly and attentive, ensuring we were happy with everything and that we had everything that we wanted. I really recommend trying a Chocolate Rotti with Ice Cream this was delicious!
Good iced coffee, good wifi, beutiful and calm place to came and enjoy reading a book.
This familiar place is really recommended they have from Breakfast to dinner offer. All good international options and local options. Food is very tasty and staff is professional and active. They like to look after you, in and out of the restaurant. The family also owns one of the best accomodations in town. They are humble, transparent and always helpful with anything you need in town: food, accommodation, transport, changing currency and any information from the general activities plus extra non crowded places. We really recommend this family. Thank you all for your passionate actitud.
The food was good and much needed after the mountain climb. The Restaurant manager was also very polite. Prices, however, were a tad bit higher than others.
I ate here twice during my stay in Sigiriya. Super friendly owner, asked for Sri Lankan spicy and it was delivered. First meal I had the curry chicken set menu. Chicken was just a small drumstick but the other accompanying dishes were delicious, especially the spicy tomato salad. Second meal was chicken kotthu and a vegetable omelette. The chicken in the kotthu was on the dry side. The vegetable omelette was pretty standard just fried eggs with vegetables. Their coconut sambal is very tasty. My first meal was a set that included dessert but I declined the dessert but was still charged for the set with dessert as opposed to the set without dessert. I think this was just a slight oversight. I tip generously so it wasn’t about the money but it’d be nice if I were charged accordingly. Otherwise, I enjoyed my meals here and would recommend them. Spacious second floor seating, smoking
