The fried rice is amazing with the orange “chicken.” I’ve been several times and I’ll continue to go as long as I’m living in Shanghai. There’s some confusion how to get here: basically when you exit Dapuqiao, exit 3 and follow the restaurants inside to the right until you see it.
Simply amazing restaurant! Cozy atmosphere, excellent menu and super nice and friendly staff. Images definitely help to find the place. The menu is both in English and Chinese and the staff speaks English too. We loved the desserts, egg and tea tree mushrooms the most.
Mostly faux meat dishes. It was a nice restaurant. Finding a little confusing
Super Vegan Restaurant may be modest in size (maximum size 20 people), but its food is unique in taste and I really enjoyed it in this restaurant. This restaurant serves mainly Chinese cuisine and soft beers. When I entered this restaurant for the first time at 4 p.m., I was grateful that it was still opened to customers during the rest period, as their employees literally slept on the chairs. The boss of the lady who served us was extremely patient as we took some time before ordering through the multi-page menu of pores. When it was our first time, she gave us a list of suggestions that she recommends about people who recommend them online. It didn't take too long to serve the food. I ordered her signed vegan egg, sweet and sour mushrooms in clay pot and stirred fried cauliflower. Your vegan egg was just ghost bags; the vegan replica looked just like the real egg, and even tasted just like one! I asked what the ingredients were in it, and I vaguely remembered – pumpkin, green beans etc. The cauliflower was also appetizing as I still try to cook fried cauliflower with this taste. These two dishes were reordered during my second visit to this restaurant. After our meal we had a hearty chat with the lady boss, and she told us how this vegan restaurant was born. I asked if she has a recommendation of the bookstore as I was looking for, and she immediately searched for a near my hotel, with the name and exact location written for me! The only drawback was the obscure location of this restaurant, although it is located within a shopping center. We had to ask further to find it successful. The toilets were too far from this restaurant, although it was on the same level, and I remained lost. Nevertheless, this restaurant is right next to Dapuqiao Station and close to Tian Zi Fang and Luili China Museum. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant an attempt as the food is generally delicious and the price is correct. Updated by previous review on 2020-07-26
First time at this point after a regular in the branch in Buy Now Mall. We ordered dishes that I know well and they were not disappointed. The vegan shrimps do not really look out or taste like shrimps (so I am happy), but are made in a very delicious spicy crispy dough. The dumplings here are nice, but not my favorite. The crispy mushrooms are still amazing, like spicy pommes. The baby eggplant with Thai basil is a solid favorite. The menu is great and there is so much I haven't tried. They also serve a lunch set that changes every day, get a plate with a small selection of the day, but it is very cheap.
