Cook Out - Shallotte

I love cookout. I go to cookouts all over the state. So much so that I know exactly what I want every time I go. This place isn't like any of the others. Something tastes so different about everything except for the fries. This doesn't have the signature cookout taste. The order was completely correct. But something was very odd about the taste of the burger as well as the chicken sandwich. I thought it was just my taste buds, but my wife and kids was so thankful when I threw mine in tha bag, as they didn't want to seem wasteful, but definitely didn't want to finish theirs as well.We usually love cookouts. This was our first and last time at this location.

I gotta tell you, in past years I had a little bit of an issue with this chain. But after visiting it 3 times in Shallotte it is now a staple for hamburgers. Hands down they have the best tasting hamburgers anywhere (even 5 guys) the taste is what Burger king use to be (but no more) I will always be going back. Also the people are very nice and clean cut, it says a lot when your ordering. GJ guys keep up the good work!

Had look for the onions and the cold slaw and the bun was hard and the young lady didn't come out to ask me how was the food until I've picked the stuff out of the bun and eaten
