There were a few tables occupied, more than in the neighboring restaurants. We had the bread toasted upon request. The lamb and pork on the spit were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Side dishes (fries and salad) were few but sufficient and not unusual in Greece. We also got watermelon as a free dessert at the end And Raki. The service was quick and friendly. It is one of our wor... read more For the first time we didn't read the reviews before sitting at a place to eat and our mistake this proved fatal as the food was not eaten. It is one of our worst experiences on the island, maybe in general. First time I leave a negative comment about the quality of the food. The fat and bones from the shortbread were more than the minimal meat. People would come and the owner would turn them away with the excuse that he didn't have anything ready, apart from the salads, while previously we had been served normally. Avoid at all costs! I should have read the reviews before going to this restaurant by chance at the end of a hike in Loutro because we noticed the same problems as other visitors. The menu Sea bream with Greek salad and fries for 18 euros is actually just a dish for one person divided in two. The worst was at the time of the bill: beyond refusing to take the bank card, they tried to charge us 4.50 for a 70cl sparkling water when it was 1.50 for a large bottle of 1.5 liter.
