The restaurant has been moved in the mall and completely revamped. Easy access from parking lot. Completely new menu. Lunch special for my wife and I had a cheeseburger and a lunch salad (bigger than side) along with Coca Cola drinks. Food was excellent, service a little slow, but very friendly. For a slower lunch to sit and relax this is the place to go. View all feedback.
What Anne Salmon doesn't like about Riverboat Family Restaurant:
My wife and I often visit this restaurant. For me breakfast is an anytime meal. I appreciate being able to order this meal anytime of the day. I also appreciate that a smaller "silver" version is available for older guests. I have always been impressed by how the waitress keeps wiping down surfaces with cleaner when there are few guests or between needs. Remember if the mall doors are locked that the restaurant has i... Longtime restaurant located in Selkirk.. Mom brought me here as a child in 1970 when smokers smoked in the restaurant!. Thank God its been modified and looks very updated and fresh. No smoking allowed. Ordered takeout. My husband loves liver and onions. He ordered that and it came with 2 sides. Only received one/ two sides in our takeout order. I ordered the spinach salad. It was very good. Huge portion. The warm spinach dressing was my favorite. Reminded me of an old restaurant in wpg called Mr. Green Jeans at Eaton Place in the 80s. Service was fast. Payment was easy. Not open on Sundays when unfortunately is when we usually will order food. Hopefully our order will be correct next time. Will definitely eat here again but I wish they were open Sundays and closed on Mondays. Thank you for keeping this family restaurant alive amidst unprecedented times.

We stopped by this restaurant on Thanksgiving weekend, and were impressed with the revamp of the restaurant it was bright, clean and very inviting. We ordered the hot turkey dinner that included dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy and a small slice of pumpkin pie. The dinner was very good, but the pie slice was small and tasted like it may have come from the local grocery store. The service was friendly and attentive. In all, a nice option for dining in Selkirk.
Great food, decent sized portions. Ordered take-out as this was the only option due to covid restrictions. We had chicken parmesan, it came with Caesar Salad and garlic toast. Highly recommend it!
