Wonderful establishment! We were visiting from Fort Myers and camping at Highlands Hammock State Park when we decided to catch the Orioles-Rangers playoff game. As soon as the staff spotted our Orioles shirts, they seated us at a high-top table and adjusted the nearest TV to show the game. We really enjoyed the fritters and fish dip. Although the Orioles lost, we still had a fantastic time. Service: Dine-in, Meal typ... View all feedback.
What Matthew McClary doesn't like about Blue Lagoon Saloon:
Review edit. Place has hit rock bottom. Staff is rude, food quality has dropped to processed instead of fresh. They will treat you terribly in person or on the phone. Was yelled at by staff for pointing out the food was burnt. They have lost what made them great. Avoid at all costs. This place beat the lunchtime. The wings were really good. The service was also good. Looks like a good place to watch a game or race as we are several TVs. Typical sports bar ambience, but there were other customers there that could say yku were regular guests and they had their children with them, so it is a little more than just a sports bar, and the food was better than an average sports bar. Overall, great place to eat and I will definitely be back when I am back in the area
Good waitresses, food was plentiful, delicious. onion rings were awesome the pound of shrimp was very tasty, the shrimp linguine was very good.
First time out, was a little concerned about the appearance but according to neighbors who said they liked it we gave it a try at 4:00 before the dinner crowd arrived. Very cool decor but a little tight for crowds. Glad we came early. The service was good and the menu selection are amazing. My fish tacos were good but not as good as I expected. My wife got a chicken sandwich and again not special. The sauce in a to go cup just didn’t measure up. Maybe we will give it a second chance but the competition is tough.
I had the gator which was overcooked and pretty chewy. My wife had a cheeseburger with the chips. The cheeseburger was freaking awesome! The chips were average. The price of craft beer was very good and a pretty good selection was available. We sat at the bar, our waitress was very attentive considering they were somewhat busy. Someone next to us had the nachos. It was huge and they said it was really good.
