What Taylor Shoecraft doesn't like about Thai Place:
Staff feel a bit cold. No eye contact, thrown your food on the counter. No thank you. But I can live with that. I ordered the lab gai which was okay but would be way better if they shredded the cabbage it is served on instead of serving on huge chunks of raw cabbage. Made it a less pleasant to eat. All that said, I would order again requesting they shred the cabbage. View all feedback. What T likes about Thai Place:
This place has consistently been the go to spot for a quick bite before and after sporting events. The Thai food and portions are good, especially for cafeteria food standards. There was one time where they got my drink order wrong and the lady managing the front had it replaced for me super fast! read moreThai Place, nestled within the Uwajima store, offers a mixed bag for diners. While the vibrant flavors of dishes like pad see ew and the esteemed 5-star curry earn praise, the service can sometimes feel brusque and impersonal. The portions are generous, providing good value, especially for takeout before local events. However, inconsistencies in dishes, like the overly cabbage-laden papaya salad, have left some patrons wanting more. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant remains a popular choice, particularly for its authentic taste and swift service. For fans of Thai cuisine, it might still be worth a visit—with a few adjustments in mind.
