I was visiting and had seen this place on the internet and (always hunting for proper British fish and chips) I made an effort to get a bus out to Ballard. Food was decent. Chips and mushy peas were really good. Fish itself was moist but that batter was way too thick and greasy. Just pulled it off and ate the fish by itself. Clam chowder was bland and was definitely missing salt. But the scotch egg was great. People working there were really nice. Could have been an off day so might come back View all feedback.
