My favorite sushi place in Seattle! The service is amazing. Sometimes you'll wait a bit for a table, but they're very accommodating. The hot options like wagyu sliders short ribs are fantastic. My favorite specialty roll is the Citrus Roll with shrimp tempura, mango, yuzu sauce, and masago (off-menu now, but they were happy to make it by request). Great cocktails too View all feedback.
What Danielle Zhang doesn't like about Fuji Sushi restaurant:
Service: the waiter seems to have no knowledge on the dishes written on the Today’s recommendation board. We tried to order the special hand roll on the today’s recommendation but the waiter gave us weird look and said it wasn’t offered.Food: the chirashi bowl was disappointing. The cut of the fish was very chunky. The seared albacore pieces were very cold and the seared side was lukewarm as best. It felt like it was... View all feedback.
Stumbled upon this place while trying to find a new sushi place to eat for my birthday. It 's a traditional sushi place that will not disappoint! We got a 12 piece chef nigiri plate (their version of omakase) for like 40 dollars and all of the nigiris was fresh and delicious! The cut was big as well! They have a private room that you can use for your party and it only cost 20 dollars on top of your bill !The service was good/on the okay side . The only complaint I had was that I asked for soy sauce and it took awhile for them to bring it . Other than that the service was pretty decent and all the servers are really nice! Parking is free and they have their own parking lot around the corner that has a sign that says free Fuji sushi parking .
It felt like it was from the freezer and not fully thawed. The scallop was tasteless and the tuna tasted watery. The ama ebi nigiri we ordered came after we had finished everything else and the fried shrimps were cold. The grilled Hamachi Kama was decent.
Super delicious sushi. Salmon was soft and practically melting with each bite. The entire roll tasted fresh. Wish there would've been a little bit more avocado though, but I'm still grateful for the generous amount of salmon.Food: 4/5
The sushi was really good! We had the calamari, sweet inferno roll and the salmon box. Everything was fresh and delicious.
TLDR: Perfectly serviceable sushi spot. It 's classic Japanese decor, feels like quality, certainly on the pricey side. I was just disappointed in my chirashi bowl but probably more because of my tastes.Food (To Go)Chirashi Bowl this was my only order. I came to pick it up and the staff was very nice. It took a solid amount of time to complete the food so I felt like it was made fresh. My only issue is the variety of sashimi was too much so a few cuts of fish were tougher than I prefer or included the skin. Again, this is my preference. I think 4 5 varieties would work for me, but there were maybe 7? And those ones I 'm not familiar with I don 't know if the toughness is normal or not so I can 't judge.Would I Return? It looks like a great place for a very by the numbers Japanese experience. I personally wouldn 't but I have no concerns about recommending it to try.
