Super clean and incredibly friendly! All the detail and care that goes into this business really shows. They take great pride in what they do and the food is a shiny example. I would highly recommend this place for food, great customer service, and delicious drinks! What Jake doesn't like about Chile Pepper:
Been going here off and on for years. Seriously declined. Owner inattentive. Told us our food would be right out before taking the order. He and Martin, I believe, spent 20 minutes ignoring us while look at their phones together. Didn't follow up on the orders by asking what filling we wanted in the options for the dish when the order was finally taken. Had to chase them down to get that handled and they were dismiss... This is authentic Mexican food! Take it from an ex-Californian. I'm very glad I found this place. Try the mole sauce. My raven loved the beans, rice, and cheese enchiladas we got. The guy who brought our food had a sense of humor.
Wonderful service that really went above and beyond to take care of our family that came in close to closing. Delicious Mole. One fine Wallingford restaurant.
Cute little family-owned restaurant. Service was a little slow but overall good experience and Good vibes.The food however was very Americanized and bland. No Mexican flavors. Even the rice was plain white and not Spanish rice.
Great food for a casual dinner. If you're looking for more a fine dining, this isn't it, but if you want a nice, casual time supporting a local business and can manage to wait for a few extra minutes since one person is operating the floor, it's amazing. I don't always crave Mexican/Tex Mex, but it will be a go to spot every now and then. The person working is also very sweet and nice.
Umm …… everything is reheated in a microwave. One person running the whole joint. Very cute place bud the food is absolute trash. Is it edible yes but only if you like food that’s been reheated more ways than one. Also some times were not available even tho they were on the menu.
